Can you really afford Obama’s “affordable care” act?
Obamacare will cost you money and care for you less!
A.) There are tax surcharges on your insurance premiums that will raise the rates. If you fall under a low income category, part of your premiums will be offset.
B.) There is a flat 2% tax on every policy.
C.) Medical devices like pacemakers, stents, artificial limbs, will be taxed an additional 2.3%.
Everyone must have insurance or be fined a tax of $95. Or 1% of taxable income.
1.) Your tax deduction for medical expenses when itemizing, will be less. Deduct 10% of adjusted gross instead of 7 ½% to arrive at the amount deductible.
2.) For taxpayers earning $200,000 and single or married filing joint and earning $250,000 Medicare tax will increase over 50% by an extra .9% and then an extra 3.8% tax on unearned income such as dividends, rental income, and capital gains.

It appears that our government is redistributing the wealth to the poor but really keeping most of it for themselves in taxes. Why not tax less and just give the low income families the reduction. I think in general if the government taking over medical care is a good thing and will probably provide lower costs for most people, but it seems to also be an excuse to take money from higher earning citizens.
